CREATED BY AND FOR BLACK WOMEN

For the woman who holds it together for everyone else.

A space made for us, Sis. Name what you feel, read the room (and yourself in it), and respond on purpose instead of holding it in. Through virtual sister circles, live workshops, guided workbooks and short practice videos.

The Ooh Sis Circle mark: seven sisters around a heart

Strong is not the same as supported.

You were fine until you got there. Then the room shifted, something old got poked, and the version of you that walked out wasn’t the one you planned to be. And you were supposed to just keep it moving.

Ooh Sis isn’t therapy and it isn’t one-on-one coaching. It’s practice: simple tools you learn together, take home in a workbook, and keep sharpening with sisters who get it. No code-switching. No explaining yourself. Just sisters.

THE OOH SIS WAY

Freda Marshall, founder of Ooh Sis, I Felt That

MEET FREDA

Hey Sis. I’m Freda, founder of Ooh Sis, I Felt That.

For more than twenty years, my work has been about people: organizational development, community leadership and advocacy. I’m a certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner with a master’s in human services counseling from Liberty University and a degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Wilberforce University, the nation’s first HBCU. Here in Tucson, I also serve as a nonprofit executive, pouring into our community every day.

Ooh Sis brings all of that home to us. Real emotional intelligence tools, practiced together in circle, so the sister who shows up for everybody gets held too. And yes, I’m a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Seven sisters in every shade of us, and one seat saved for you.
